Writer’s block or just no ideas…

When I restarted my blog I made a vow to write every day. But for a few day’s I neglected my writing. I was surprised how difficult it was after just a few missed days how hard it was to actually sit down and write. I’m not sure if I’m experiencing writer’s block or if just I’ve been so busy and nothing much new has been happening with my planting or cooking. It’s strange how sometimes things just flow out of me and I can hardly type fast enough and other times I sit with my fingers on the keys wondering what to type.

I have been busy at work and that does take up my creative power sometimes and my husband just bought a new car so we were wrapped up in test drives and looking at different models, colors and interest rates among other things. There is so much paperwork! Almost more then buying a house. Then there have been a few days of getting to know the car and how it drives. I’m a manual reader and so I have to still finish some of that. I guess things have been happening but I just wasn’t sure it was worthy to write about.

Yesterday would have been my step son’s 33rd Birthday so it was a quiet day spent thinking about him and what his life would have been like. This upcoming weekend is Memorial Day and that is always a time to reflect in our house. We try to get away from everything and everybody for the day. Other than that we don’t have much planned for the summer yet. I’m hoping my hubby can get some golfing or fishing in but first the weather needs to warm up, I mean it has been grey and windy and rainy. Here it is a week from June and I think we’ve had 2 days above 72. It makes it hard to want to get out and plant or get out and walk and enjoy the beauty around us. Here’s to hoping the weather is nice enough on Saturday as I’m going to the Farmers Market no matter what. I’m planting some tomatoes and cucumbers this weekend rain or shine.

I know this isn’t much of a blog but I at least did it. I at least wrote and I will write tomorrow again no matter what. I just have to do it. I always feel better after I do it. Thanks for reading if you took the time. ♥♥♥

  1. I always take the time, I enjoy your blog. I didn’t get to it right away this week as I was sick, but recovered now. It doesn’t seem to matter what you write I always enjoy it. Sometimes life just happens, and fast, take a breath, you are loved.
