Zucchini Bread Comparisons

When I went to work on Wednesday, I brought some of the zucchini bread I made following my Grandma’s recipe and it went over pretty well. Today my co-worker Reagan brought in some of the zucchini bread her Nana made for her and it was like seeing in real life the bread that I was remembering! It was the color and close to the  flavor. Not as moist as I remember Grandma’s and it also didn’t have the slight sweetness of pineapple, but it is definitely closer! So, my goal on this 3 day weekend is to get the bread recipe right no matter what. I can only hope that the hubby is ready to be a Guinea pig! I have some zucchini shredded and ready to go but I also found another mid-size monster hiding in the garden last night, sneaky little things!

I have found myself becoming that friend who gardens for the first time and desperately not prepared for what I created. I sent a literal bag full of tomatoes with my husband to drop off at another of my co-worker’s house like a little tomato bomb. Really my co-workers have been very accepting and since 98% of them are men they always like it when you bring in free food. I will update my blog sometime this weekend with either my success or failure on making that recipe what I want it to be. Below are pictures of my zucchini bread on the right and Reagan’s Nana’s on the left. Definitely a color difference. The adventure continues.♥  (Oh and I added a picture of the tomatoes for fun. I planted Roma’s)
